Air-Conditioning Preventative Maintenance

 Preventative maintenance reveals potential problems with your central cooling system prior to any breakdowns. These issues can be avoided by seasonal maintenance that will prolong the life of your unit. We will thoroughly inspect your air conditioning system to ensure proper operation for the upcoming season. 

Full A/C Maintenance Checklist:

• Clean outdoor condenser coils

              with special microchannel cleaner

• Remove all debris from the unit
• Check all wiring and connections
• Check for proper capacitor charge 
• Check for proper refrigerant pressures 
• Inspect and clean relays and contactors
• Check and repair refrigerant line insulation
• Check ductwork and dampers for proper airflow
• Check liquid and vapor line temperatures
• Measure dry and wet bulb  temperatures
• Flush out indoor coil condensate drains
• Check blower amp draw for efficiency 
• Check outdoor fan motor and blades
• Check condensate safety devices
• Check thermostat and contacts 
• Replace indoor blower air filter*
• Check indoor blower assembly
